Binge Worthy Netflix Shows

Binge Worthy Netflix Shows

The plague hit our home this past week (or what felt like the plague) taking out my husband first last Saturday and then me on Thursday night. After lots of sleep and heavy doses of NyQuil, we are both starting to feel like ourselves again. With all the cold medicine, my mind has been hazy, and I haven’t had the energy (or attention span) to do much besides sleep and watch TV this past week.

Personally for me, there’s nothing worse than being sick and not having anything good to watch. As much as I would have liked to read a book or even blog, my brain and body just didn’t have the energy for anything else. In case you find yourself in similar circumstances, I wanted to share with you all my favorite series on Netflix. Continue Reading

Valentine’s Day on a Budget

Valentine's Day on a Budget

It has been an adjustment so far (goodbye eating out 3-4 nights a week and daily Starbucks), but the money we can save in the long run will be worth it. Surprisingly, I’ve been enjoying finding lower cost alternatives to my usual lifestyle, and it has brought out my creative side for this coming Valentine’s Day. Here are some ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day on a budget, without feeling like you are missing out: Continue Reading

10 Holiday Traditions

There are so many fun activities and events surrounding the holidays, which makes it the best time of year to start new holiday traditions. Growing up, my family had and still has many traditions surrounding Christmas, and I always look forward to them each year.
